ASUS announces refreshed ROG range of gaming products for India

Asus announces four new laptops and two new desktops, in their Republic of Gamers lineup, aimed at gaming enthusiasts in India

ASUS announces refreshed ROG range of gaming products for India

ASUS just announced new products for its flagship range, Republic of Gamers (ROG). There is a high end gaming laptop, two desktops, an ultraportable and two mainstream laptops . Peter Chang, Regional Head - South Asia and Country Manager – System Business Group - ASUS India, said, “Gaming technology is always evolving as a gaming enthusiast is always looking for upgrading or enhancing their systems. Today, along with high performance and graphics, gamers also want their machines to be portable and light-weight. With our new ROG series launch, we have tried our best to cater to the demands of all the gaming segments i.e. from entry and mainstream levels to professional gaming. It has always been our endeavour to provide the best gaming experience to the users and ultimately help the gaming industry in India to thrive” [caption id=“attachment_310459” align=“aligncenter” width=“640”] ![ASUS ROG GT51](http://tech.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/ASUS-ROG-GT51.jpg) ASUS ROG GT51[/caption] The ROG GT51 won the CES 2016 Innovation Award in the Gaming and Virtual Reality category. It has a 6th gen Intel i7 processor, and Nvidia GeForce graphics, the GTX Titan X. The desktop supports up to 3 4K displays. The ROG Turbo Gear offers one click overclocking. There are dedicated air tunnels for cooling. The GT51 has a retail price of Rs. 3,25,900.  The ROG G20CB is a more compact desktop suitable for surround displays. It comes preloaded with the ASUS ROG Aegis II software for capturing, editing and streaming gameplay videos. The ROG G20CB is available for Rs. 1,22,990. The laptop runs on a 6th Gen Intel i7 processor, with NVidia GeForce GTX 980m graphics. The cooling for this laptop uses a mobile 3D Vapor Chamber, propriety ROG tech. The G752VY sells for Rs. 179,990. Both have Nvidia GTX 960M graphics. the ROG G501VW is lightweight and ultraportable. The ROG G501VW is priced at Rs. 95,490 and the G551VW is priced at Rs. 1,00,490. Finally, there is the GL552VW, with the lowest price tag in this round of announcements. Available at only Rs. 82,490, the laptop has a 6th gen Intel i7 CPU and the NVidia GTX 960M GPU. The design of this machine was inspired by F22 stealth fighter.
