Reuters[/caption] This is good news for Android users as apps purchases were shown in the the app developers’ currency before. Google did display the amount charged in Rupee on a users credit card, but the final pricing was app developers currency only. This meant that your credit card was charged in dollars or pounds or euros depending on the currency of the developer. From 25 October, any app that Indian users buy from Google Play will charged in rupees on their credit card. However for app developers from India, the option to sell paid apps on Play Store is not yet available. In September, India was spotted on the list of countries from where developers can sell paid apps but Google removed India from the list the very next day.
