Update: The site seems to be back on for us now and we able to share on the site. Also downrightnow is showing Facebook as back up. Tell us if it’s working for you again.
Facebook seems to be down for users across the world. According to the site downrightnow, Facebook is facing a likely service disruption.
When we tried to log in via Chrome on our desktop, the message we got was that the site was down for maintenance. This is the message that a lot of other users are also getting and have shared on Twitter. Even mobile seems to be down. The Android app nor the iPad app was updating.

Facebook was working when we tried accessing it on deskptop via Firefox. As usual the topic is big on Twitter with many people still complaining of trouble as far as the site is concerned. Check out some tweets.
