Users who were just recovering from the loss of instant messaging via GTalk are now in for another round of bad Internet news. Twitter, the popular micro-blogging site is down.
According to the official Twitter company blog this was message was posted for users. Users may be experiencing issues accessing Twitter. Our engineers are currently working to resolve the issue.

Twitter did not specify what issue was. The Google Talk issue was resolved after nearly five years. Google Talk was also trending on Twitter due to the outage.
The Twitter accessibility issue is a worldwide one.
