'Nifty could hit 8000 if Modi's budget tackles subsidies'

If Narendra Modi's first Union Budget tackles the subsidy regime, UR Bhat, MD Dalton Capital Advisors, believes the Nifty could hit 8000 levels. In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Bhat balanced this by saying, "If they are a little soft on that and give some sort of moderate Budget then it would probably be not dramatically different from here, probably plus minus 150 points, that's about it."
