First of its kind: ICICI offers EMI scheme on debit card purchases

All debit card holders, however, are not eligible for this facility. Only those with fixed deposits with the bank can avail of this scheme. SBI raises fixed deposit rate by token 0.2% on select maturity

With the revision, term deposit between 180-210 days less than Rs 1 crore would now earn 7 percent against existing 6.80 percent, SBI said in a statement.
