New cancer therapy comes of age, cost a "toxic" side effect

MADRID (Reuters) A raft of new cancer drugs promise better, longerlasting treatments with fewer adverse side effects but their high cost is a growing concern. Drugs that help the body's own immune cells fight tumours are expected to be used in multidrug cocktails, pushing the price of therapies costing more than $100,000 a year even higher. At the same time, other expensive medicines are being combined to produce impressive results fighting diseases including breast and skin cancer. #facebook #China #Brazil #France #Arabic #Russia #Argentina #Latin America

Jewish settlers occupy Palestinian homes in Old City's shadow

JERUSALEM (Reuters) Israeli police guarded Jewish settlers as they moved into seven homes in a Palestinian neighbourhood of occupied East Jerusalem on Tuesday while stunned and angry Palestinians looked on, aware that there was little they could do. The homes in Silwan, which sits in the shadow of Jerusalem's Old City, were purchased by Elad, a prosettlement group that uses funds from Jewish supporters in the United States and elsewhere to buy properties in Palestinian districts. #facebook #United States #Technology #Arabic #Middle East #Russia #Israel #Italy #Latin America #Mexico #jewish
