Looks like the pressure from the crowd and the hammering that India received at the hands of Ricky Ponting and Michael Clarke was too much for Virat Kohli to take. The Delhi-based player could face disciplinary action after he made an objectionable gesture towards the SCG crowd during day two of the second Test of India’s tour to Australia. The middle-order batsman used micro-blogging website Twitter to explain his actions as he wrote- @iamVkohli: “I agree cricketers dont have to retaliate. what when the crowd says the worst things about your mother and sister. the worst ive heard.” [caption id=“attachment_172198” align=“alignleft” width=“380” caption=“Virat Kohli shows his middle finger to the crowd. He treads a thin line with a possible fine or more from the officials. A similar incident was seen in the English Premier League when Liverpool’s Luis Suarez was banned for a match when he made the gesture in front Fulham’s fans.
