Will Armstrong admit to sexual relations with his bike?

by Jan 10, 2013

If you’re the betting types and you’re willing to bet on Lance Armstrong saying, “I did not have sexual relations with that bike,” on Oprah Winfrey’s show on 17 January, you could make 250 times the money you bet.

Paddypower.com are offering odds on which cliche the cyclist will first use as he plans to admit the doping charges against him.

The most expected terms like “Doping” and “Allegations” will win you 4/1 which means you win five pounds on every pound bet.

But, if, in a gush of honesty, he ends up saying, “I’m high right now,” then it will win you 91 pounds on every bet placed.

Armstrong has never admitted to the doping charges that cost him seven Tour de France titles. He is so much in denial, that Paddypower is willing to pay you 126 times the money if he says, “When the Tour de France champion does it, that means it is not illegal.”

Here are the words he’s expected to use and the odds on them:

Cheat – 7.00
Tour de France – 8.00
Come clean – 10.00
UCI – 10.00
Stripped – 11.00
I lied – 13.00
Lawyer – 13.00
Livestrong – 15.00
Pat McQuaid – 17.00
It wasn’t my fault – 26.00
Hatchet job – 26.00
Donation- 26.00
I’m proud of my career – 34.00
I took a heap of drugs – 36.00

P.S. Betting is illegal in India, so there’s no point in getting excited about the offer unless you have a legal betting account. Otherwise, just hope one of your relatives wins big and offers to share a slice of the pie.
