Harbhajan Singh is not as free as you think. He may not be playing cricket, he may not be snapped in his Hummer too often and he has not been seen in movies since his role in Mujhse Shaadi Karoge.
BUT... he has kept himself busy... reciting poems.
A video by Goyal Music called Ek Suneha has hit YouTube and even though it seems like a song, it's not. It's a recital by Harbhajan Singh. And, pardon us, it's funny. The video is directed by Sanjay Glory, who has also written the poem.
The camera focuses on Bhajji's lips rolling out line after line of Punjabi script, on Bhajji oddly standing inside a studio with a bit of his paunch sticking out and on Bhajji's hand gestures matching the words he says. For example, when he says duniya, he traces a circle over his head and so on...
So watch it to believe it.
Vinod Kambli, Sanjay Manjrekar have sung before while Sunil Gavaskar and Sandeep Patil have acted in movies. Sreesanth has his own band and Wasim Akram was recently in a rap video.
But somehow, this 'number' by Bhajji tops them all.
