Sreesanth in India ‘A’ squad for one-dayer against England

by Jan 2, 2013

The All-India Senior Selection Committee has picked the India ‘A’ squad for the one-day game against England, at the Palam Cricket Ground, Delhi, on 6 January 2013.

Abhinav Mukund is captain while Maharashtra’s 22-year-old Rohit Motwani is the wicket-keeper. Sreesanth also makes it back to the team. The senior Indian team could probably use a fully fit Sreesanth too.

Paras Dogra, who has had a great Ranji season, but is primarily known as a defensive batsman finds a place in the squad as well.

England will play their second warm-up one-day game, prior to the start of the AIRTEL ODI series, against Delhi, at the Ferozeshah Kotla Ground, Delhi, on 8 January 2013. This will be a ‘day-night’ encounter, starting at 12:00 pm.
