He was in the middle with Sachin Tendulkar when the little master brought up his 50th Test ton. In India’s last two series against England, the visitors lost 1-3 and 0-4. England beat his side in India too — but Dhoni continued to lead the team. Probably the series loss against Australia was too much - and Dhoni called it a day from Test cricket.
