The Paralympic Committee of India (PIC) Wednesday announced that London Paralympic Games silver medallist Girisha Hosanagara Nagarajegowda will be given a cash prize of Rs.10 lakh.

Girisha won the medal in the men’s high jump F42 event clearing 1.74 metres Monday.
The paralympian, who belongs to Karnataka, has an impairment in his left leg.
