Left-arm bowler Irfan Pathan will replace an injured Vinay Kumar for the tour of Sri Lanka starting on 21st July.
Kumar has suffered a right hamstring injury while training and a BCCI press release stated that he is expected to be out for three weeks.

Earlier, Sachin Tendulkar also ruled himself out of the tournament citing reasons to spend time with his family.
But Zaheer Khan is back and so is Virender Sehwag. Zaheer is expected to shoulder the bowling attack at a tournament which is seen as a preparation for the Twenty20 World Cup in Sri Lanka.
