Yuvraj Singh and Ashok Dinda led India to what in the end was a comfortable 11-run victory over Pakistan in the second T20 international. Yuvraj made up for the middle-order failure in the first match by smashing 72, his highest T20 score, from just 36 balls to push India to 192 while Dinda took three wickets in his final two overs to effectively end Pakistan's chase and even the T20 series at 1-1.
India were once again given a steady start by their openers but it was Yuvraj and MS Dhoni who gave the innings its impetus. The pair added 97 in just 7.2 overs and set Pakistan a challenging total on a good batting pitch. The Pakistan openers started well enough but Pakistan stuttered in the middle overs and despite another enterprising 50 from Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez, the target proved beyond them.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar was brilliant in the first T20 match against Pakistan at Bangalore but the India team was still well beaten by a much better outfit.
Pakistan had the superior bowling attack and on a wicket that offered some assistance, they had the Indian team in plenty of trouble. Gautam Gambhir and Ajinkya Rahane gave India a decent start but their slow run-rate meant India were always struggling.
In reply, Bhuvneshwar had a spectacular opening spell but the others didn't do much as Shoaib Malik helped Pakistan to a thrilling win.
Pakistan have won the toss and elected to bowl first. No changes in the Pakistan team and only one change in the Indian team -- Ravindra Jadeja has been rested and R Ashwin gets a game.
