England's win in Wankhede was based on some brilliant batting by Alastair Cook (122) and Kevin Pietersen (186) while Monty Panesar and Graeme Swann did the damage with the ball. While Cheteshwar Pujara and R Ashwin saved India the blushes in the first innings, England's spinners were simply unstoppable in bowling them out in the second innings. The target of 57 runs was then reached effortlessly.
