“We are absolutely delighted with the response. It is good to note that the ICC Women’s World Cup 2013 has garnered huge interest in the world’s biggest cricket market. This bodes well for the future of women’s cricket,” said Aloke  Malik, Managing Director, ESPN Software India Pvt Ltd.

Campbell Jamieson, ICC’s General Manager – Commercial, said, “We have always believed that a lot of women support and follow women’s cricket in India but they don’t necessarily play the sport. In partnership with STAR Sports, we were able to touch and reach that audience as well as advertise women’s cricket across the globe.”
