Dive or no dive? A closer look at Robben and Netherlands' penalty

While some believe that it was a blatant dive, replays did show that there was minimal contact. Former Netherlands and Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy said that there was minimal contact and Robben made the most of it. With the clock winding down, the experienced Marquez should have probably known that Robben will set him up for a lunging tackle. AP[/caption]   [caption id=“attachment_1594895” align=“alignleft” width=“940”]  Even if Marquez wouldn’t have made the tackle, Robben had nowhere to go which probably puts the onus on the defending team to be extra careful when tricky wingers like Robben run at them.
