After BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj propounded his wisdom claiming in a statement in Haridwar that the Nepal earthquake was not caused by interactions of tectonic plates but by Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Kedarnath, Sadhvi Prachi has followed suit, creating a furore on Twitter. [caption id=“attachment_2194529” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj. IBNLive[/caption] Their logic is as follows: Rahul being a non-vegetarian and hence, impure, shouldn’t have visited the holy land of Kedarnath before purifying himself—that is taking a dip in the Ganges. “Rahul Gandhi eats beef, and goes to the holy shrine (Kedarnath) without purifying himself. The earthquake was bound to happen,” The Times of India reported Sakshi Maharaj as saying . Also present at the conference was Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Sadhvi Prachi. Jumping the queue, she made a similar statement saying, “This ( earthquake) is due to the visit of Rahul Gandhi, who is a non-vegetarian. He did not take holy Ganga dip. He should have first purified himself. This disaster in Nepal and northern India is due to Rahul’s visit," reports the Tribune. Soon, ‘Sakshi Maharaj’ started trending on Twitter as people slammed the VHP leader
Rahul Gandhi should send thank you note 2 Sakshi Maharaj; while world knows he can't do anything, someone believes he can cause earth quake!

Between God, Rahul Gandhi, and Sakshi Maharaj, guess who is the only one facing charges of destroying a place a worship?

Sakshi Maharaj needs that thick geography textbook from school and the one on science too. Take them both. Hit him on the head with them.

What da Sakshi Maharaj? We already have Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, Indira Gandhi airport, Rajiv Gandhi sea link. Now Rahul Gandhi earthquake?

There are some natural disasters we can do nothing about. Just accept and move on. No, no, not earthquakes. I'm referring to Sakshi Maharaj.
