Los Angeles: Pop star Katy Perry will get to keep the house she shared with estranged husband Russell Brand during their marriage as part of their divorce agreement.
According to quit claim deed filed by Brand, the "Arthur" actor has surrendered all rights to their $6.5-million Hollywood Hills mansion.
The former couple bought the three-acre mediterranean-style property in June 2011. It has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, and boasts a swimming pool, a pub, a huge home theater, a study and a guest house, Ace Showbiz reported.
The 36-year-old comedian gave his portion of the house's ownership to the 27-year-old singer for "no monetary consideration." Perry and Brand got married in October 2010 in India.
After 14 months of marriage, Brand filed for divorce in December 2011. While the two reportedly did not sign a prenuptial agreement, the couple has decided to divide assets amicably.
