Ranchi: When Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi arrived on a two-day visit to the state Tuesday afternoon, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker was injured in clashes between supporters of the two parties, police said.

A few BJP workers tried to show black flags to Rahul Gandhi near Birsa Munda roundabout in the Jharkand capital, said a police official.
The Congress workers protested and both parties clashed. One BJP worker was hit with a stick, police said.
The BJP workers appeared at Birsa roundabout when Gandhi was garlanding freedom fighter Birsa Munda’s statue.
The Congress MP will visit Bokaro Wednesday to participate in a party programme.
