Advocating that the parliamentary board is an appropriate forum to select the leader of the party for the next general elections, senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former Union minister Yashwant Sinha said that the BJP national executive, which is meeting in Goa this weekend, is too large a body to decide on the issue. The national executive will discuss national and political issues that concern the nation and wouldn’t concern itself with picking the person to lead the party in the next general elections, he told CNN-IBN. “We should in good time decide who will decide who will lead us in the elections,” Sinha said Sinha said that an appropriate decision on who should be the leader of party will be taken soon at the level of parliamentary board.
