"SP and BSP are responsible for the bad shape of affairs in Uttar Pradesh... BJP is the only alternative for bringing good governance, rule of law, and development," the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister said last night here.
"It is necessary that BJP comes to power in UP for giving momentum to development and taking the state to new heights of progress," Mishra said.
The BJP leader termed as "unnecessary", the debate around Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar being prime ministerial candidate in the 2019 general elections. "Narendra Modi is the prime minister as of now and will remain the prime minister in future too," he said.
Attacking Congress and its leaders, he said that they have had a "culture" of taking commissions and after the probe into the AgustaWestland deal, it (Congress) will once again be "exposed like at the time of Bofors scandal".
