Friday afternoon saw some of India’s fittest sport stars and actors take to the stage at the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower in Colaba for the NDTV-Nirmal Lifestyle Fit India Movement. This is a first of its kind movement in India to encourage people all over the country to adopt healthier life patterns. This is the second year since its inception and a nationwide hunt for India’s Fittest City is on in full swing. Ranbir Kapoor played ball, quite literally, but failed to bend it like Beckham so he got down to dancing with Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza as NDTV’s Prannoy Roy, cricketer Virender Sehwag and footballer Baichung Bhutia looked on. Milind Soman, Bipasha Basu and Dia Mirza alongwith the Minister of Sports, Ajay Maken and Dharmesh Jain, Chairman and MD of Nirmal Lifestyle were also present. Boxer Vijender Singh was unable to make it, but his face beamed out of all the billboards at the event.
