Images: Heavy downpour that brought Mumbai to a standstill

Mumbai experienced a heavy downpour on Monday evening, leading to water-logged streets and massive traffic jams. As per the Met office, Mumbai received 26 mm of rains last evening causing power disruptions and traffic jams across the city. The heavy downpour had also disrupted flight movements at the Mumbai international airport for about 30 minutes. The weather office has issued a warning of high tide over the next five days accompanied by heavy rains.
