Images: Major rivers close to danger mark, as North India reels under floods

Major parts of North India, such as Rajasthan, Delhi, Jammu, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh are facing heavy flash floods.Rains and thundershowers continued in Uttar Pradesh, where major rivers are flowing near the danger level. The Central Water Commission officials said that Ganga is nearing the red mark at Fatehgarh and was rising all through the course from Kannauj to Ballia, while Yamuna was very near the danger mark at Mathura.
