Last week, Time magazine featured Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the cover, with the headline provocatively calling him ‘The Underachiever.’ The article said little that Indians and Indian media had not said before, but the Time story caught the imagination of the twitterati, and, consequently, of the media. Just rehash the gossip and the chatter, and, hey presto, here’s your cover – one all of us in India will lap up.
