Land Bill: The British were fair about this, says Patkar
The recommendation of a Parliamentary panel to reject a key provision in the land acquisition bill allowing the government to acquire plots for private companies, will help farmers, said Medha Patkar, a social activist. "That much of justice for the farmers was expected," said Patkar on CNN-IBN.
