The video shows Bhatt’s car breaking down, following which she takes a lift from five complete strangers who drop her back home. No questions asked, no harassment, no molestation, all perfectly safe and very unreal. At the end of the video, it does acknowledge that a scenario like this is impossible in the real world and asks whether it’s even possible to give a woman this kind of world, where there’s no fear or distrust for men. 3. When Ben Affleck defended Muslims during a debate
At a time when the actions of the Islamic State have shocked the world and possibly increased the prevalent Islamophobia across the world, it was Gone Girl star Ben Affleck who stood up for Muslims and said one cannot paint everyone with the same brush. During a debate on Real Time with Bill Maher Affleck called the shows hosts comments on Muslims “gross, racist and disgusting.” 4. ALS ice bucket challenge
The ALS ice bucket challenge has gone viral online. From tech tycoons like Mark Zuckerberg to Tim Cook to Bill Gates to celebrities like talk show queen Oprah Winfrey and Lady Gaga, everyone is taking the challenge and posting videos online. The challenge is to raise awareness about Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) which is neuro-degenerative and is also known as motor neurone disease (MND), or Lou Gehrig’s disease in the US. 5. John Oliver mocks Rahul, Modi and Times Now
John Oliver begins by showing a clip of TV debates in America on India where one of the American guests says that India is not even in their hemisphere and therefore there’s no point discussing it. Oliver then brings out a globe pointing out, “If they’re not in our hemisphere, they don’t exist.” He then moves on towards the election and says that the fight is between a Gandhi and a Modi. “Let’s begin by dealing with Gandhi first,” he says. “I know, I know, it’s not the first time that’s been said in a British accent.” 6. Vir Das’ tribute to PM in Manmohan Rhapsody
Vir Das’ comedy-rock band Alien Chutney has come out with an insightful version of Queen’s classic Bohemian Rhapsody titled Manmohan Rhapsody. It’s basically an attempt to decipher what goes on inside the PM’s head when he keeps a poker straight face and refuses to communicate with people. 7. Let it go from Frozen

Three Nigerian nationals were brutally beaten up by an angry mob at Delhi’s Rajiv Chowk metro station, video footage from a mobile phone posted on YouTube doing the rounds of the social media. It was unclear when the incident took place. 9. 10 Hours of Walking in NYC as a Woman
The two-minute video shows actress Shoshana B. Roberts walking silently in jeans and a T-shirt through Manhattan as man after man greets her with remarks such as “hey, baby” or “hey, beautiful.” When she does not respond, she is admonished for being rude with comments such as “smile” or “somebody’s acknowledging you for being beautiful. You should say thank you more.” 10. “Linda honey”, kid makes appeal to mom for cupcakes
