Viral Video: Sheldon Cooper dancing to ‘Call me Maybe’?

by Nov 16, 2012

They are known for their straight-laced nature, nerdy behaviour, and ‘too-brainy observations’. But, they can have fun too.

The cast of “The Big Bang Theory” broke character big-time during a live taping for Thursday night’s (15 November) episode — with a flash mob!

Just after ‘action’ was called on a scene for “The 43 Peculiarity,” the actors — including Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper), Johnny Galecki (Leonard Hofstadter) and Kaley Cuoco (Penny) — seemed startled as Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe,” sounded through the stage.

Moments later, the entire crew assembled in front them and launched into a synchronized dance.

And whose idea was it? Of course Cuoco’s. Seems she had been waiting for this for a long time.

Cuoco orchestrated the surprise and enlisted her sister to choreograph it. But, the video released by CBS is just a tiny bit of the entire event. However Cuoco promises fans that she is “trying to get you the rest of it!!!!”

The video has gone viral. Posted on YouTube on 15 November, it already has 1,339,826 views.

Make sure you watch the video till the end for Sheldon Cooper’s little surprise. Bazinga!
