Absolutely stunning: Watch India from space as seen by a NASA astronaut

We have seen several incredible images of India, from the natural bounty to the architectural beauty.

But have you ever wondered how India looks from the space? Well, you’re about to find out.

NASA astronaut Terry W. Virts, who has been in space since December 2014 as commander for Expedition 43, has captured some amazing imagery of India from above.

Virts has been flying over India for the past week and has chronicled his journey through photographs and videos on his Twitter page.

He also documented his day and night flight over India showing a beautiful contrast through the flowing Ganges and shining night lights
