As the country gears up to celebrate the maiden International Yoga Day on Sunday (21 June) with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading from the forefront, there is someone who can make Yoga even more popular in a manner where the government won’t dare to tread. This is obviously an another attempt by the 24-year-old actress who wants to stay in the headlines, this time piggybacking on Yoga. Such is her enthusiasm that she even tweeted out a YouTube video link where she demonstrates her skills to tell you how to bend your body like hers. “She starts off by quoting a famous Yoga guru who said, “Yoga se hi hoga” (It will happen only because of Yoga). Then she goes on to show some of the basic asanas that every individual should do everyday."— said a DNA report. While the government hopes to boast of numbers for a world record turnout, Poonam Pandey with her Yoga poses on Sunday at the Rajpath would have made the job of the overworked government machinery lot more easier. With Poonam Pandey now taking the responsibility to popularise Yoga in her own unique and sexy way, at least there is a hope that the number of healthy Indians would soon multiply.
