Dinner plans: Sloppy Bombay Joes

by Jul 6, 2011

Sloppy Joes, that American staple of ground meat and buns gets a desi twist in this popular Sloppy Bombay Joes recipe by Food Network star Aarti Sequeira. It might look like it needs a whole lot ingredients and effort, but the end result is well worth it.

For dialing up the heat, use red chilli powder instead of the paprika. Also, you could make twice the batch of the sauce and then use it again the next day for making more sloppy Joes, pastas or pizza. You also don’t necessarily need to use burger buns – it works great as a naan wrap as well.
