Its’ a buy day: Buy Ultratech, JP Associates, Biocon, IDFC

Here are your intra day picks for the day from various market experts and brokerage houses :

Vishal B Malkan, CMT, www.malkansview.com, has two buy calls. He says one can buy Ultratech Cement with a stop loss of Rs 1,450 for an initial target of Rs 1,478 and a higher target of Rs 1,487. The second stock to buy on his list is Jaiprakash Associates with a stoploss at Rs 73.5 for an initial target of Rs 77 and next target of Rs 78.5 per share.

Vishal Kshatriya of Edelweiss says that investors can go long on LIC Housing Finance. While the stock has given an inverse head and shoulder breakout pattern on the daily charts, the daily oscillators have also given a buy signal. He recommends investors to go long at the current market price with a target of Rs 275 maintaining a stop loss of Rs 252.

The second stock to go long is ABB as the stock has given a declining trend line breakout along with good volumes on the daily charts. The short term oscillators have also given a fresh buy signal. One can go long on the stock at the current market price with a target of Rs 850 and a stop loss at Rs 775.

Sanjeev Agarwal, CEO, Dynamix Research & Capital Management, has two buy calls. He first pick is Biocon. He says one can buy the stock as the company has been showing a very strong basing formation. One can buy the stock at the current market price and a decline upto Rs 221-222, with a stop loss below Rs 216. The targets for this stock is 235-245.

The second stock to buy is IDFC as the stock has been showing very positive formations on the chart. One can buy the stock at the current market price with a stop loss below Rs 125 for targets of Rs 140-148.
