Two policemen were injured in Juhama area in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district after a grenade was lobbed towards a checkpost on Monday. After the incident, a case was registered, ANI reported.

A joint checkpost was set up by police and the army at Juhama in Baramulla for routine area domination, a police officer told IANS.
Shortly after 6 pm, a motorcycle which was coming from the opposite side made an about turn on seeing the checkpost and as they were asked to stop, "one of the two militants riding the motorcycle hurled a grenade" towards the deployed security personnel.
The policemen received minor injuries in the blast, the official said, adding that the area has been cordoned off for searches.
According to media reports, two militants were gunned down earlier on Monday as an infiltration bid was foiled by security forces at Rampur sector in Baramulla district.
In another incident on Monday, Indian and Pakistani troops traded heavy fire on Monday along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.
Quoting the police, media reported that a ten-year-old boy and a teenage girl were killed while nine other civilians were injured as Pakistani troops opened fire and lobbed mortars at dozens of villages and posts along the LoC in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The spokesman said Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked and heavy firing and shelling from across the border in Dhigwar, Kerni and Shahpur sectors.
