CNN IBN reported that the suspicious object was found near the Infiniti mall in suburban Andheri and visuals showed a device with a timer attached to it.
Police officials later said that there was no proof that it was a explosive device.
According to reports, the device was found in a garbage bin opposite the mall and might have been found by a cleaner.
