Chandigarh: Gurugram Commissioner of Police Navdeep Singh Virk, who faced flak after a spell of rains brought the city to a halt, was on Tuesday shunted out and posted as IG of Rohtak Range.
Five other IPS officers were also transferred by the Haryana government and Sandeep Khirwar, IG, Security with additional charge of IG, Railways and Commando, was appointed Gurugram's Commissioner of Police.
