Jaipur: The Rajasthan government has announced a compensation of Rs 1 lakh each to the next of kin of those who have lost their lives in the floods.
An official release on Monday said the government also announced Rs 25,000 each for those critically injured and Rs 10,000 each for those who sustained minor injuries as compensation in Jalore, Sirohi, Pali and Barmer districts.
The relief amount will be provided from the chief minister's relief fund.
The decision was taken at a review meeting chaired by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.
