Owaisi’s incendiary speech generates outrage on Twitter

MLA from the MIM party Akbaruddin Owaisi came in for a lot of criticism on social networking sites like Twitter after an incendiary speech during a set of public gatherings organised in Andhra Pradesh.

While the speech was made on 24 December it began trending on the microblogging site today after the video was widely shared. And expectedly the reactions ranged from the outraged to those demanding action against the MLA for his speech that many claimed was as bad as that made by Varun Gandhi while campaigning in Uttar Pradesh in 2009.
