New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday morning carpooled to the Delhi Secretariat in Transport Minister Gopal Rai's Tata Nano car with Health Minister Satyendra Jain.
"We are getting full support from the public during the second phase of odd-even scheme. People are voluntarily participating in it and I hope it will be as successful as the first phase," Kejriwal told reporters.
"We gave it a lot of thought but no solution could be found. It will cause some problems but vehicles could be shared with neighbours," the Chief Minister said.
Earlier, Delhi's Water Minister Kapil Mishra took Metro from his Civil Lines residence to attend a meeting.
The 15-day odd-even traffic scheme started on 15 April and aims to put odd- and even-numbered vehicles on the roads on alternate dates.
