Five persons accused of brutally raping and assaulting a 23-year-old woman in Delhi, that eventually resulted in her death, are to be produced before a Delhi court today.
The court, while taking cognisance of the charge sheet had summoned the five accused — Ram Singh, his brother Mukesh, Pawan Gupta, Vinay Sharma and Akshay Thakur — to appear before the court at 12.30 pm today.

They have been charged by the police under multiple offences, including gangrape, murder, attempt to murder, dacoity, dacoity with murder, kidnapping, criminal conspiracy and unnatural sexual offences.
The sixth accused is facing charges in a juvenile court, despite clamour for him to face the same charges as his adult accomplices.
