India will be handing over copies of Syed Zabiuddin Ansari aka Abu Jundal's Pakistani passport and identity card to Pakistan's foreign secretary in an attempt to prove the complicity of officials there in harbouring him.
CNN IBN reported that Indian authorities will be handing over copies of Zabiuddin's passport issued in the name of Riyasat Ali and his National Identity Card issued in the same name.
According to the documents, Zabiuddin's permanent address in Pakistan is listed as Muridke in Sheikhpura district.
Incidentally, Muridke is the location where terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba is accused of conducting terror camps where accused in the 26 November, 2008 terror strikes in Mumbai were reportedly trained.
Police officials have also alleged that Zabiuddin has said that the terror group was planning an attack on the Nasik Police Academy.
Officials say it was planned to be on the same lines as the attack on the Lahore Police Academy in March 2009. However, Zabiuddin has reportedly said the plan fell through after arrests were made in the German bakery blast case in Pune.
