Images: Celebrations, protests and clashes mark Afzal Gurus hanging

The hanging of Afzal Guru, convicted for his involvement in the 2001 Parliament attacks, saw an array of reactions across the country. While some activists and students protested against the government decision at Jantar Mantar, stating it a violation of human rights, they were attacked by a group of Bajrang Dal activists. Congress, BJP and Rashtravadi Shiv Sena activists held brief celebrations at some places. Here are the images
