Hyderabad: Several places in Telangana continued to reel under heatwave conditions with Adilabad, Ramagundam, Khammam and Nalgonda on Saturday recording a highest maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature was appreciably above normal at one or two places in the state, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said today. The Met department has predicted thunderstorms accompanied by squall at isolated places in several districts of Telangana, including Hyderabad, in the next 48 hours.
Maganoor in Mahabubnagar district received 2 cm of rainfall, while Vikarabad and Gandeed (both in Ranga Reddy district) got one cm of rainfall in the last 24 hours.
