Four minor tribal girls were allegedly kidnapped from their hostel in Pakur district in Jharkhand and raped by more than 20 men. Villagers informed the police of the shocking incident that took place Monday night. All the girls belonged to the Pahadia tribe and were staying in the hostel of a Christian missionary school. The government spends a large amount of money to ensure better education and facilities for the Pahadia tribe. “They came at 11pm and took us to the jungle. They tried to kill us. The villagers then rescued us,” said one of the survivors. [caption id=“attachment_958017” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] This is a representational image.
