Workshop: How to make the Internet’s next big hit

Oct 6, 2012

Be it Kolaveri Di, Gangnam style or Charlie bit my finger!, today’s stars are all born on the Internet.

You can put in lots of hard work, thought and creative effort into a video, but if it doesn’t have that certain something that makes it go viral, you may as well forget about it.

Can your video be the next Kolaveri Di?

But what is that certain something? Is it random luck of the draw or is there a formula to it?

Well its not as random as the Internet would have you believe. Turns out that you CAN ‘make’ a viral video… and here’s a workshop that shows you exactly how.

Conducted by Viraj Velinker / Sanjay Sankla / Prashanth Challapalli / Rachanah Roy, and organised by WIFT (Women in Film and Television Association India) the two-part workshop features Prashant Challapalli from Jack in the Box (of Kolaveri Di fame).
