New Delhi, Feb 2 (IANS) A 31-year-old woman tutor committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in her house here, police said Saturday.
Shefali, the younger daughter of a Delhi Development Authority accountant, hanged herself in east Delhi’s M.S. Park area Friday afternoon, police said.
The body of the unmarried victim was found hanging from the fan around 7 p.m. Friday when her father returned from work.
“When the woman did not open the door, her father took help of his neighbours to break it open,” said a police officer.
“No suicide note was recovered,” said the officer.
