Sunny morning in Delhi, rains likely

New Delhi, Sep 16 (IANS) It was a sunny morning in the capital Sunday with the minimum temperature settling at an average at 24.8 degree Celsius. The weather department has forecast rains ahead.

“Generally cloudy sky. Rain or thundershowers may occur in some areas,” an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 34 degree Celsius, added the official.

A total of 24.0 mm of rain was recorded in the past 24 hours till 8.30 a.m.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 80 percent.

Saturday’s maximum temperature was a notch above for the season at 32 degree Celsius, while the minimum temperature was at average at 24.8 degrees Celsius.
