New Delhi: Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee is yet make public her decision on presidential polls, Union Minister Kapil Sibal is expected to meet her in Kolkata on Thursday in an apparent move by Congress to reach out to her. HRD Ministry officials, however, said it’s only a “courtesy call” on Banerjee by Sibal during his day-long trip to the city.
Mamata had yesterday said the final decision on her party’s stand on Presidential election would be taken three days before the polling date on 19th July. Sibal visit to the city would come just days ahead of UPA presidential nominee Pranab Mukherjee‘s visit to West Bengal on July nine to canvas support for his election.
