Jaipur: Welcoming Rahul Gandhi‘s readiness for a greater role in Congress and government, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot today said the move will strengthen the party.
“Congressmen are happy with Rahul’s decision for playing a bigger role in organisation affairs and the government,” Gehlot said in a statement here.
“Rahul wanted to study the problem in the country by travelling across, so he travelled to villages and distant places to understand situation of poor, farmers, labourers and tribals. Finally, he has decided to play an active role and come forward in organisation and government. This would further strengthen the party,” Gehlot added.
